Take a look at OldRed in The English Family Anderson and have a go at making a model bus just like it :-)
some cardboard, a pencil, a rubber, a pen, some paint, some scissors, a ruler and some sticky tape.
First measure out the shape of the bus. Using a cereal box made it easy because I could use the side as the roof (so it already had neat folds). The front needs to be the same…
Yesterday we took a train ride to the seaside!
Just leaving the station…
Through the fields we go!
Over the hills…
Have a little sit down…
Can you see Reflecto Girl?
Flying high above the houses! :D
And even more houses…
Rows and rows of houses. And a crane in the distance!
Stopped in a station to collect more passengers…
Here we are!
And here we are in Brighton Station. Please mind the gap…

Remember I wanted to make a new hat
With the yarn from old hats I’d unravelled?
Remember I said Random Rose made a hat,
A beret with ridges she cabled?
Well I followed the pattern that Rose kindly shared,
Though the yarn had lost elasticity.
The needles I used were not quite the right size,
But I wasn’t going to let that stop me.
So I finished my hat and I’m pleased how it went,
Fancy one of these?
Easy. Just download this picture:
And then get it made by an ethical printer near you (check out the useful links at Ye Olde Positive Activism Shoppe)

It’s time you met the beautiful birds of Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare! Raystede rescues and re-homes chickens. They have a lovely big garden to live in filled with places to play and have fun or rest and relax. As well as chickens they have two magnificent turkeys who inspire awe wherever they go.
Maybe you could…
